Launching Q++ |
|
To launch Q++ Studio, use either of the 2 shortcuts which were created during installation (do not try to launch Q++ directly using the Q++.EXE program; it will not work). Either double-click on the desktop icon (below left) or go to the Q++ Studio program group on the Start Menu and select Q++ Studio shortcut (below right).
![]()
The splash screen appears while the main program is retrieved from the server and loaded into your workstation's memory.

While the splash screen is up, initializations and verifications necessary to the correct functioning of Q++ Studio are performed (these steps take longer after installing an update, or the first time Q++ is launched every day). For more details on these various steps see the topics What happens while the splash screen is up ? and the first point in the topic Making Q++ Run Faster.
