The Special Characters Token used to display any ASCII character is &# followed by the number representing this character's ASCII code (a full list of ASCII codes can be found in the appendices). Some examples :

Although you can cut and paste most of the above characters from QuarkXPress or Word into any of the Rich-Text Editors of Q++, these characters often appears as a square or thick vertical line which, when many such characters are used, may lead to confusion. Using this token ensures that the characters used are obvious at all times.
